Stress is your body literally saying.. take care of me. If you are feeling stressed right now, you’re not alone. According to the Centraal bureau voor de statistiek, in 2021, 1 out of 5 of all working young people between the ages of 15 and 25 said they were regularly or often stressed about their work. Teenage girls and young women experienced this stress more often than teenage boys and young men.
And unfortunately, stress affects how we treat people around us. Sadly, it’s not in a good way. Being stressed can actually make people more egotistical and annoyed. Stress can affect us on all multiple levels. It affects our body, mind, and behavior. So please, take this seriously.

Here are some tips you can try whenever you are stressed again.
1. Breath or mindfulness
Try to focus on your breathing. 4 seconds inhale, pause, 4 seconds exhale until you are calm again.
2. Drink a glass of water.
3. Take some fresh air or go for a walk.
4. Mind mapping. Write down what’s on your mind what you are so stressed about. Plan what you can do about it. How to solve this problem and take actions.
When you have a clear plan and have covered the possible outcomes, things don’t come as a surprise and when you are more in control of your situation, you become more relaxed.
