You create it, one step at a time1 min read

Reading Time: < 1 minute

✨At some point, we all tell ourselves the same story:

“I’ll start when I feel ready.”

Ready to change.
Ready to begin.
Ready to take that step we keep thinking about.

It sounds responsible. Even wise. But it’s also one of the most subtle ways we hold ourselves back. Because “ready” is not a feeling that suddenly appears one day.

It’s not something you wake up with. It’s not something that arrives when life is finally calm, clear, and perfectly aligned. If you’re waiting to feel ready…you might be waiting forever.

The truth is uncomfortable, but freeing: Readiness is not a feeling. It’s a decision backed by action.
You don’t become ready and then start. You start—and that’s what creates readiness.

Think about it.

Were you ready for every difficult moment you’ve already survived? Every change you had to navigate? Every responsibility you had to grow into?
Probably not. But you figured it out while you were in it. That’s how growth has always worked.

Not before. During.

And yes it requires consistency, patience and you might make mistakes. You create it. One step at a time. In sha Allah. I believe in you! You got this, girl.

Love,

Syahidahnatrah

Trouble with my name? Don’t worry, you’re certainly not the only one. I respond to Natrah. A globetrotter who has changed her dreams into goals, is eager to learn and turns her passion into work so she doesn’t have to “work” a single day.
