Life can feel like it’s happening to you instead of for you. Wake up. Work. Responsibilities. Messages. Appointments. Repeat. Before you know it, weeks have passed and you’re wondering where the time went. You’re running on autopilot, following routines, and telling yourself you’ll focus on your wellbeing “when things calm down.”
The truth?
Things rarely calm down on their own. And as uncomfortable as it may sound: nobody is coming to do it for you, babe. Nobody can create your peace. Nobody can protect your energy. Nobody can prioritize your wellbeing. It all starts with you.
The good news is that meaningful change doesn’t require a complete life overhaul. In fact, the smallest actions often create the biggest momentum.
Try these simple mindfulness habits:
🤍Take one conscious breath before opening your phone in the morning.
🤍 Spend 2 minutes sitting in silence without distractions.
🤍 Notice 3 things you’re grateful for today.
🤍 Take a short walk and pay attention to what you see, hear, and feel.
🤍 Pause before reacting and ask yourself: “How do I want to respond?”
Create a routine for yourself which includes praying, skincare, prioritize breakfast (and no not just a banana on the way), at least your 2 liter of water, go to the gym or if you can’t go out do it at home with a YouTube movie. And a good night sleep. The bare minimum is the least you deserve!
These habits may seem small, but consistency matters more than intensity.
You don’t need an extra hour in your day.
You need a decision. A decision to show up for yourself, even when life feels busy. Because every positive change begins with one moment of awareness. And that moment can start right now.
Love,
