Being Alive Is the Celebration. We’ve been taught to wait. To wait for birthdays, anniversaries, milestones for something to justify joy. As if life needs a reason to be honored.
But being alive is the whole reason.
Your breath right now.
The quiet moments no one applauds.
The ordinary day that doesn’t look like much, but is everything.
We postpone gratitude like it’s guaranteed we’ll have time later.
We save softness, presence, and joy for “special occasions.” But tomorrow isn’t promised. And more importantly this moment is already here.
So what if you stopped waiting?
What if today, without an occasion, you allowed yourself to feel it all, the weight, the beauty, the simplicity of being here. Celebrate that you’re alive. Not someday. Now.
You deserve it, babe! Duniya Akhirah, In Sha Allah.
Love,
Syahidahnatrah
